Lesbian Playboy bunny Stephanie Adams "switches teams"

oh, well. At least she gave it a whirl! And Stephanie Adams is certainly not the only Sapphic loving Playboy bunny. (When I meet a sex worker, and/ or someone who is very high femme -- I assume they have Sapphic tendencies). And for those of you disappointed to lose her, just because she's engaged to a man doesn't mean she's no longer Sapphic. It just means she's decided to marry a man. Stephanie Adams, Miss November 1992, the first and only lesbian Playboy Playmate has switched teams and has announced her engagement to a man.

The New York Post reports that the ex-Playboy bunny is engaged to marry "a loving, supportive, successful man."

The 39-year-old former lesbian didn't say who she was marrying, "I would like for his privacy to remain intact, but I will say that I intend to retire from being a public persona so that we can settle down and have children . . . Life is good . . . I have no regrets for anything."

Formerly out and proud, Adams co-authored several books including Empress about two women who fall in love in ancient Rome.

In her Coming Out Speech For The New York City Gay Pride Rally In 2004, she said, "One year ago, I decided to finally come "out" publicly as a lesbian in spite of what could have come out as a result of it. My journey was one that later took me to the rally for Pride 2003, where I found myself inspired by those who spoke in front of everyone. Today, I am here with the hope of inspiring all of you with my experience of being welcomed and recognized in such a wonderful and diverse community."

In 2004, Adams was named the "best NYC lesbian sex symbol" by the Village Voice.

The 5'9 model continues to be an advocate for LGBT rights.
