Sapphic kiss of the week! (we need a panther)

Each Friday I will be throwing a special Sapphic Kiss to someone who has contributed toward a more peaceful sapphic loving world. My inaugural Sapphic Kiss goes to Mowlana Saifeddin Abuolmaahamed Mohammed Farghani (b. 1247 AD), who, I learned this week, was the first Iranian poet who advocated social justice.  Here's one of his poems translated from Farsi to English:


You think of people as a sheep flock in this glorious land.
And you assume you are leading them as a shepherd.
But you are not the true Leader.
You are as a wolf; overcoming you we need a Panther.
