We have an official officiant

Yesterday I asked my dear friend Gabriella if she would be the Officiant for my wedding, and she said yes. Gabriella is intersectionality embodied. She is a professor, a poet and a performer, passionate in everything she does. She carries a Stanford Ph.D. alongside the great wisdoms of migrant workers and Curanderas. She lives in a family of men (her husband and two boys) and is fiercely loyal to her women friends. She was, in her own words, "in many ways raised by gay men" and is friends with Adrienne Rich (my first lesbian hero). I could not dream of a better person for this role.
